Waterloo School Parents’ Association (PA) is a great way to become involved with the school community, meet other parents and make a positive contribution to the school.
All parents and caregivers with children at Waterloo School are welcome to join. Our meetings are held on week 2 and week 7 of each term (Monday nights, 7.30-9.00pm in the staffroom).
The Principal, a BOT member, and a Staf Rep attend most meetings.
Fundraising
Our fundraising efforts have been responsible for buying a range of equipment and resources that wouldn’t have been available to the children otherwise.
A variety of fundraising events take place through the year, including Entertainment Books, Abacus Calendars, pizza lunches and the annual Christmas Cottage – a craft market evening with an emphasis on local and handmade products.
The Big Sunday Lunch (“BSL”) is now an established community event on the school calendar. It’s a day of fun, food and family, with games, live entertainment and a huge variety of delicious food.
Find out more
Minutes of all meeting are placed on the noticeboard at the school office.
Regular updates on PA activities are provided in the school newsletter, on our Facebook page and in the PA end-of-term newsletter.
If you’d like to find out more about what the PA does you can:
We look forward to meeting you!
